Three Storeys Winter Exhibition, 3rd December 2024 -5th January 2025 

Open exhibition for local artists in our gallery space ‘The Setting’ and our café, ‘The Plot’ at Three Storeys, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, GL6 0JE. 

We would like to invite local artists to apply to show work in our Winter Exhibition at Three Storeys. Being part of our joint show is a great way to get your work seen, to meet other artists, and to try out our space here in Nailsworth.  We will accept applications from artists living/working within approximately 10 miles of Nailsworth, but may be open to a wider area depending on take up, so it is worth getting in touch.

• Up to 3 works (2D and 3D) can be submitted for consideration.

• £30 entrance fee to apply - this will be refunded if none of the works are selected, but kept if one or more items are included in the exhibition. Payment details to be found on the application form below.

• 20% commission plus VAT on any work sold.

• Applicants must send in good quality photographs for us to view your work, and provide the following details for each piece: 
  - artist name and title of the piece
  - media
  - dimensions
  - selling price

• Items sold will be marked with a red dot for later collection, or can be taken from Three Storeys once paid for. If delivery is required the purchaser will need to get in touch with the artist to arrange. We will provide buyers with artists contact details in this instance.

• Three Storeys may hold back some works to replace sold items but will ensure all successful applicants have at least one piece displayed.

• Items are left/displayed at the artist’s own risk. We have CCTV but will not be actively stewarding the exhibition. The adjacent café bar is staffed when the exhibition is open. We recommend you take out insurance cover specific to your work and its value.

• Payments from customers will be taken through our tills and remitted to the artist less the commission amount.

• Successful applicants will be contacted in mid November, and work selected must be dropped off Monday 2nd December 2024, between 9 and 12am or earlier by prior arrangement.

• Items to hang must be strung with picture wire or string (mirror plates won’t work) so we can use it with our hanging system. 

• Closing date for applications is Monday 11th November 5pm. 

• Unsold work will need to be collected after the exhibition closes on Sunday 5th January, promptly at 3pm or on Monday 6th January before noon.
