MOVING PICTURES - an exhibition of film by Pip Heywood

For thirty-five years I worked as a television documentary film editor – telling word-based stories. Now seventy-one, I have an Arts Council grant to explore different ways of making and showing films. My father, Oliver Heywood, was a local landscape painter, responding to nature without words. Much as he would sit in a valley with a sketchbook, I have been filming what I see and hear. I hope that the edited films will be places you can spend time in.
MOVING PICTURES will give you the chance to move from one screen to the next, seeing contrasting films, from Gloucestershire, Scotland, Yorkshire and Devon, all filmed over this last year.
